Description

Please read the end to see how you can potentially get this car for $19,500 after tax credit. For sale is my pristine, accident-free, 2018 Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD with Enhanced Autopilot (EAP) . The car has just over 42,000 miles and a brand new 12V battery, which was just changed preemptively before listing for sale. You might be wondering, what's EAP, and why is this car priced above some other 2018 Model 3's ? Well, as you can see in the photos, you can add Full Self Driving (FSD) to this car for only $2k since it has EAP, which was a $6k feature when I purchased the car. If you aren't interested in EAP/FSD, and just want Basic Autopilot, then this car might not be for you . Also, this car is the LR AWD model, and still gets 282 miles on a full charge (see screenshot proof from the Tessie app). If you are fine with only ~210-230 miles on a full charge, then this car also might not be for you, as you can get a Standard Range Plus (SR+) for cheaper, though many of them have upwards of 100,000 miles and accident histories. This single-owner personal commuter car has never been in an accident . It has been for part of its life street parked in NYC, so there are some general dings and dents on the car. One night while the car was parked, someone gently hit the rear bumper (no visible damage, but caught on camera) while getting out of the spot behind me, and this jostled one of the parking sensors, which was fixed at Tesla. As mentioned earlier, the car also has a brand new 12V battery - as it was still running on its original 12V, shockingly, as they tend to last 3-4 years but this one was going on six - also supplied and fitted by Tesla. The well-informed Tesla enthusiast might notice the chrome delete, which wasn't factory in 2018, and you are correct, I had this done separately. The black film covering the chrome can be easily removed, you might need a hair dryer but honestly I think it would probably peel off without one. Why am I selling ? I have a 2022 Model X Plaid, and also don't live in the US anymore. So I have two cars sitting in a garage, collecting dust, for when I visit the US every month or two, during which I drive my Model X. This Model 3 did ~25k miles in its first year (commuting NY to Boston for work), ~10k in the second year, and a combined ~7k in the subsequent four years . Besides the aforementioned parking sensor repair, the car hasn't moved from its climate controlled garage since late 2023 (the 12V battery replacement was done by mobile service). The tires were replaced less than 10,000 miles ago, and have excellent tread, though I haven't precisely measured them. This is a single-owner vehicle, with no accidents . Tesla offers an 8 year, 120,000 mile warranty on the battery and drive unit, which means you can cover ~75k miles over the next two years, and still be covered ! The car is available for viewing in Bay Ridge (Brooklyn), NY, and can be shipped anywhere in the US. I welcome any and all questions, and welcome viewings, but I do not take kindly to time wasters. If you are unsure about the car, please come and see it before committing to buy it. I don't mind at all (I am not often in the US, but the car is at my family's house and they can show you the vehicle if I'm not around). If you commit to buy it, I will presume you are serious, and proceed accordingly. If you just want to take a look, don't click "buy now" here on eBay. Message me and I will be happy to show you around. It's possible this car is eligible for any number of federal or state incentives for used EVs, but I don't know much about those, so please do your own research ( see below for KeySavvy info ). I have noticed many Teslas for sale on eBay that advertise the "price after tax credit," but I find that disingenuous. The price here is the amount of money I expect to receive for the car . If you get a $4k tax credit, that's fantastic (and I would be happy for you), but I don't bake that into the price as that's not fair. Another thing I've noticed is lots of Teslas advertise FSD if the car has FSD "capability." This is incredibly foolish ! That means you need to still pay for FSD, just that the car is capable of supporting it (like pretty much all Teslas besides the original Model S/X, as they are too old). This car has EAP installed and fully paid for . You can choose to upgrade to FSD for only $2k (and I suspect anyone buying this car plans on doing that), but I am not advertising this car as having FSD, since that's also disingenuous. Yes, however, it has FSD capability, meaning it has the appropriate hardware to support FSD if you pay the upgrade fee. The car is also eligible for the $2k "acceleration boost," but it's plenty fast, already doing 0-60 in ~4.4 seconds . A few folks have asked if they could pay via KeySavvy because allegedly that makes the buyer eligible for the used EV tax credit in some jurisdictions (I don't know if this is true, you should check if interested). The service seems legitimate, so I am honoring it for interested parties : www.keysavvy.com/pay/tesla-tzntvh . I've only just set it up, and have uploaded the title/registration to verify ownership. I have already gotten offers of $21,000 and $22,000 (even Tesla is offering $20,000 as a trade in), so I will not sell for under $23,000.
