Vintage Gilt Patinated Cast Iron Doorstop Statue Chinese Serpent Cat Foo Dog. Measures 4 pounds 15 ounces. It certainly looks oriental type, not certain if China or another country of origin. My mom acquired this decades ago from a local estate sale. Af first I thought it was bronze but a magnet sticks to it so it is apparently cast iron with a gilt finish. Hollow cast. Fine condition with no damage noted and a nice aged patina - see detailed photos.
